Kiwi Can Reflection
This week at Kiwi Can we were learning about values and qualities, such as Accountability, Did you know that Accountability means taking responsibility for your own actions. A person has Accountability for their actions and behavior, sometimes being accountable means admitting you have made a mistake. At our school we can show this by bringing our P.E gear, and deodorant for our sports sessions. For our challenges we played a game called copy me. The goal for this game was to get the most amount cards. But, to get a card we first needed to complete some actions that our leader did. At the end everyone tried really hard but my group was victorious. The next activity we did was called 2 truths 1 lie. In this game we were to guess someones lie and two truths that they say. The reason we did this activity is because we wanted to see how it feels to open up when you tell a lie. By doing that we were showing Accountability. I enjoyed this Kiwi Can session and I hope next week is even better.

Kiwi Can
Yesterday we had our first Kiwi Can session as it was amazing. Our Kiwi Can tutors were Mrs Lily and Mr Matt. Our theme for this term is Positive Relationships which means connecting with others and encouraging them in different ways you can help them out. If you encourage and support someone it will help them to boost their confidence. Mrs Lily and Mr Matt set up a game for us called 10 second tag that required encouraging and supporting each other in your team. In my opinion there were a lot of people showing the support and encourage to others. I think LS2 has started off with a great job.

Kiwi Can
This morning LS2 had Kiwi Can. During Kiwi Can we played three games which was Hand Soccer, 10 down and Objects. In Hand Soccer we were first split into two groups. We each given numbers from 1 to 13. Mr Malu had to call out two numbers and those two numbers had to try and get a goal between the two cones with their hands. It was a very challenging games because we had to use our hand to get the goal. My favorite game was Objects because it was a very creative game. In this game we were split into four teams. Mr Malu and Mrs Latoya had to put an object in the middle and each group had to figure out anything to do with that object for example one of the objects was a hula hoop. What my group did with it was pretending it was a basketball hoop. I think LS2 could play this game again.

Taking Risks - Kiwi Can
To for Kiwi Can we were learning about taking risks. Our warm up game that we started with was called bip, bop, bounce. The main objective was to not get out (Obviously). We had to say bang before the person in the middle says "bip, bop, bounce and if you didn't you would be out. After our warm up we split up into groups and played a game called Hand Soccer. In this game we were only allowed to use our hands and score. We were also not allowed to pick the ball up, it had to be touch the ground at all times. Every person in each team had to touch the ball before scoring. Our team played really good, everyone was participating. But we couldn't score a few more goals, so the other team won. In my opinion I think the player of the game was Freeman because he was always taking risks and was a great team player.
