Key Vocabulary
Shannon and I have made a glossary of the key vocabulary. We had a list of words that we needed to find the definitions of. For each word we added a photo with attributions. I learnt that the word for star in Maori is Whetu.

Matariki: The Seven Sisters
This week to celebrate the Maori new year we have been doing inquiry that links to Matariki. In this task Shannon and I had to listen to a video called Matariki and the seven sisters, and then answer the questions we were given. I enjoyed doing this because I found that there are only six sisters and a Mum.
