Place Value house

L.I To show how to use place value to work out the maths problems.
This is a flow chart that shows place value to work out maths problems. I did this with Jack and Alex. I learnt how to solve a problem using the place value house.

  1. Well done Fraidon, the use of arrows to show steps makes it easy for someone who doesn't know about place value to understand how it works. Your example was well thought out as it showed the "ones" place value being bigger than 9 and having to move to the left. Some more reflection on how you found the process would be helpful to you personally to figure out when to use this as a strategy.
