Yesterday the Tamaki Wrap group came to our school to talk about Plastic Free July and rubbish. Before the lesson we watched a film that talked about reduce plastic and rubbish. The thing that shocked me the most from watching the video is that America send their rubbish to Asia and get underpaid workers to hand pick the rubbish out. Then we got split into four different groups. Each group were making collages using the chip packets, rubbish, magazine pages and cloths. I also learnt that New Zealanders can fill up a rugby field with rubbish in one week. Finally each person was given a bag and we took a big class photo with it. Jeremiah, Tiava and I have a DLO on Plastic Free July using Prezi. To check it out click
