Halves Strategy

This strategy was given to us so we can test it out and give our thoughts on it. I found it great but sometimes if I have to solve a big problem it would take me really long.

This week for maths we have been solving maths problems. For this week the word problems were a bit harder then we expected it to be. I really enjoyed doing this is was really fun, and thanks to the help of Jeremiah.

Part Adder

Today I had to work out two digit numbers using the part adder.

    The first strategy I used  compensating. I added one number then I took that number away again .                                           

For this I doubled the numbers to get my answer.
