The skeleton is one of the most dangerous events in the Winter Olympics. That's why the competitors have safety gear. The Helmet that is worn protects their face fully. They also have special shoes which has spikes on the bottom that helps get a good grip on the ice. Furthermore competitors wear a race suit that has many features to it. Such as long lasting and tough fabric. Finally there are gloves help stop your hand from getting injuries. Do you think the Skeleton should be a sport in the Winter Olympics?

Winter Olympics Comaparison
This week our inquiry task was to create a Venn Diagram on the Olympic values and our school values. My partner Marieta and I worked really hard to find out the similarities and differences between them. I also found out that the Olympic motto is in Latin and translated it means Faster, Higher, Stronger.
