In the holidays I went to the movies with my friends Ali, Moshtaba and Hossain. I went to Moshtaba’s house then from there we all went to the Manukau Movie cinema.

We got there and got ourselves tickets for the movie Everest. When we got the tickets it wasn't time for the movie so we decided to do some challenges. One of the challenge was talking in our own language to a random person. We got sushi, ice cream and drinks. Finally the movie started then we went to watch the movie the person got our tickets said we were not allowed to take our sushi in the movies we were only allowed to take our drink and ice cream. We ate our sushi fast and then went inside. We were lucky that the movie didn't start. My favorite part of the movie was when the characters got to the top of Mt Everest. The movie was really cool and and sad because people

died.

Then after the movie we took a bus ride home. When we were waiting for the bus we went shopping for lollies.

heart foundation

Yesterday Ms Orangi from the heart foundation came to room nine. We learnt about what we should eat lot's of and less of. She also talked about the food pyramid. She came to talk about keeping track of the calories we eat and eating healthy. She also taught us what drinks are healthy for you and the drinks that are not so healthy. Fizzy drinks are unhealthy but drinks with caffeine in them are really unhealthy. Water is the best drink for you and juice with water in them is second.

My healthy sandwich poster

Today I made a poster of my healthy sandwich. I had to write my ingredients that I wanted in my sandwich. My poster showed what has the most protein , carbohydrate , fat and sugar.
