Strategies
L.I To investigate the 3 multiplication strategies.
This week for maths we had to teach each other the strategies we learnt in our groups. Mr Ogilvie got us into groups of 3 or 4. I had to teach my group the Japanese method the I learnt my group had to teach me the Korean and Algorithm method that they learnt. I learnt the Korean and Algorithm method.

Olympic Athlete: Michael Phelps
This week in Ls1 we had to pick an Olympic athlete that played in the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics.
We had to do some research on the person using the Five W's and the H. The person I chose was Michael Phelps. I chose Michael Phelps because he is one of my favorite athletes in the Olympics.

Shopping with maths

This week for maths we had to apply our prior knowledge to real life. Mr Ogilvy gave us 5 thousand dollars for each pair. We had to go off look at the brooches and try to buy 10 things and then subtract and them till we get our answer.
