City Of Sails Challenges| 3 | NZ Alphabet Key

For my fourth activity I did the Alphabet Key of Auckland. This activity was basically filling each of the alphabet letters with things that are based on Auckland. For example the letter R could be the Rugby because it is the New Zealand Sport, NZ or F can be Farming since we have a lot of farming industry. It was pretty hard because it was hard to find a topic based on Auckland that started with the letter x, y, and z, but then I figured out X Mas, Yellow eyed penguin and the Z Gas Station was one.

City Of Sails Challenges| 2 |Where I Would Live In New Zealand?

For one of the City of Sails Challenge I decided to do what place I would live in New Zealand and why I would live there. I decided to choose Queens town, since I've been there multiple times. I would want to go to Queens town because of the large variety of activities there are especially the Skyline and Luge which is where I've been in the previous holidays. Not only that, but the Lake Wakatipu is really amazing because of its crystal clear water.

City Of Sails Challenges| 1 | City Of Sails Welcome Sign

This week for inquiry we have been researching about Auckland the City Of Sails. Our task was to do five challenges about Auckland. My first task that I did is the City Of Sails welcome sign.  In my sign I have the Harbor Bridge, a Kiwi, and the Auckland City. I found this task really fun because I was able to creative with my learning.

Victorian Era Schools/ Steampunk Art

This week for inquiry, LS2 have been learning about the Victorian Era. The Victorian era was based on Queen Victoria's time. Our first activity was to choose one of the task from Victorian time and Junior, Mataio and I decided to choose to research about the Children working in factories. We researched about this because we wanted learn how life was hard for children back in the Victorian times. I found out that kids who are age 5 to 6 and are skinny would have to climb to the chimney and clean all the yuck chemicals. In my perspectives we are lucky because back in the Victorian time if the kids spoke to each other they were smacked, but in nowadays we don't get smack for doing bad things in schools. Some of the kids doing the chimney sweep had rotten teeth because of the chemicals. After this activity we were to draw a steampunk which was based on the Victorian era. A steampunk is when modern technology is mixed with technology back in the Victorian times. I have drew a heart. Our last task was to make a DLO based on what steampunk art is and facts about it as well. I really enjoyed all activity especially drawing the steampunk.

Athletics Day

Today was Panmure Bridge School had their annual athletics day. Everyone was split into four different teams: Yellow, Green, Red and Blue. I was in the yellow team and my teammates were Kanye, Ofa, Julian and Sky. Each team was rotating around each activity. There were 9 field events. They were rob the nest, hurdle, sponge relay, shot pot, discus, lifesaver, egg and spoon race, rest/dance station, long jump, and the Frisbee race. We all enjoyed the activities that we participated in. We had students from Tamaki College to help us with the activities. My favorite activity was the hurdle and sponge relay, because I liked how I got wet. The last field event that we did was sprints. Each year group had a different meter mark to run from.

Harry Potter Book Series

This week for reading our task was to create a DLO about a series of books that we have read. We needed to tick the books that we have read and keep the books that we have't read blank. The series that I chose to do was Harry Potter. I have read four out of the seven books. My favorite book from the series is the Goblet Of Fire. I quite liked this task because I was able to show some of my favorite books that I have read.

2018 Read Theory Progress

As part of reading today LS2 have been making bar graphs to show their progress on Read Theory. Some of us did a bar graph which had our 2017 & 2018 progression and others had just our 2018 progress. In my opinion Read theory is a really helpful site to learn new words and to help comprehend questions. On my bar graph it shows my progression in February, July, and November in 2018. As you can see my bar graph looks like stairs, which shows how I have highly improved in 2018. When I first started in 2018 I was on grade 5 and now I am on grade 10.

Myths And Facts About Wolves

This week has been book week. We have had quite a few challenges based on the stories we read as young children. Our teacher Mrs Anderson has also set us a few challenges based on a few books that she read as a child. This one being Wolves. It is written by Emily Gravett, and illustrated by her too. This book explains and gives a few facts about wolves, and includes lovely images to paint a picture into your head. Our challenge, was to come up with around 5 myths about wolves, and then research them and see if they are true or false. This task could be done alone, or with a partner, so I chose to work with Alex.

Meerkat Mail

This week is book week, to celebrate book week Mrs Anderson has read three of Emily Gravett's books and has asked us to complete three activities based on the books. The books that we have read are: Wolves, Meerkat Mail, and the Big Book of Fears. All three books were written and illustrated by Emily Gravett. The book we were read too, was Meerkat Mail. It's about a Meerkat who is getting sick of living with his family and throughout the week he went and lived with relatives who live a different lifestyle he is used to. At the end of the book he finally understands why he has to live like he does so he returned home. For this task I worked with Jack.

Gold Respect C.A.R.E Award: Make Dinner For Your Family

In learning space 2 we have Care award badges. To achieve a badge we must complete five tasks. In this task I needed to make dinner for my family. I am doing this challenge for my gold respect badge. I found this task quite difficult because I did not know what to cook. But, with the help of my mum I was able to make naan bread. My mum would tell me the instructions then I would follow them. While I was making my naan bread, my mum made some delicious rice and chicken to go with it. Down below is the instructions that I followed to make my naan bread.

  Ingredients:
1. Sugar
2. Salt
3. Water
4. Flour
5. Yeast

Instructions:

1. Mix the ingredients.
2. Form it into a tight ball
3. Then place it somewhere warm for about 40 - 45 minutes, so the dough can rise.
4. Once it rises, put dough out onto a floured space.
5. Divide dough into 8 pieces and roll out with a rolling pin
6. Then, put it inside a frying pan with non stick cooking spray on it.
7. Cook each side for about 1 - 2 minutes.

Do Illustrations Matter? Why?

This week is book week and to celebrate this, Mrs Anderson set up a bus stop activity which asked questions about books. Some people found doing the orientation confusing but it all went to plan at the end. After we answered the questions Mrs Anderson asked us to create a statistical analysis on one of the questions. For this activity I have created both a pie graph and bar graph to expand the knowledge of my global audience by sharing with them do illustrations in a book are popular among LS2. To answer the question the majority of people said yes and this could be for many reasons including: people not pushing themselves, or students are easily hooked in by amazing artwork. Although, I have said that illustrations are not necessary they are still an amazing thing to add.

Gold C.A.R.E Award: Respected New Zealand Leader

This is a presentation on Peter Jackson a New Zealand film director. I made this dlo for one of the tasks for my gold respect badge. I needed to make a DLO on a respected New Zealander. I decided to choose Peter Jackson  He most well known for The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Did you know that The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy won eleven Oscars

Gold Respect C.A.R.E Award: The Climb Stan Walker

Stan Walker is a New Zealand singer who started his career by winning the Australian Idol. The song 'The Climb' is apart of of his 2009 album Introducing Stan Walker. In my personal opinion I think he sang this song because of cancer and his emotional problems that can only be expressed through a meaningful song. One interesting thing I found out about Stan Walker was that he has a tattoo on his neck that reads Ataahua.(Which means beautiful) I did this task for my gold respect badge.

Gold Respect C.A.R.E Award: Thank You Letter

In LS2 we are focusing our CARE Awards. The DLO above shows you one of my gold respect task. For this task I needed to write a thank you letter to a teacher or other staff member. I have written my thank you letter to our sport teacher Mr Ogilvie. He has done a lot of things to help and support P.B.S in sports activities. In my thank you letter I have thanked him with the all the awesome things hes done with sports in P.B.S

Armistice Day|Personal Research Challenge

Today for our Personal Research Challenge LS2 was given a task which was to create a question chart about World War 1. Ofa and I have questions such as: How long did soldiers train for?, what kind of food did they?, how many soldiers died from firing squads? etc. The question Ofa and I researched more about was: How were soldiers punished for not following their orders? We have learnt that if soldiers were drunk on post their punishment could be death but it can be tied to a rope for 2 hours. Did you know that soldiers were also sent to court and if they were found guilty for breaking one of the rules they were shot. Being killed and tied by rope wasn't the only punishment. Soldier were also put on cleaning duties meaning they were to clean the dishes and also the toilets which was worse than cleaning the dishes.

Book Week | Re-Design Cover

This week is book week for Panmure Bridge School. What we are doing for this week are a few challenges based on the books that we have read in our past, and about reading in general. For this challenge, we were to re-create the cover of a book that we read in our childhood. The book that I did was Noah Dreary, and I worked on this activity with Julian, and Jack. We had all read and loved this story, so it was an easy choice between which book we did this on. I had a lot of fun doing this activity, and I believe that Jack and Julian had just as much fun.

I found this task really easy and I will try to do harder challenges next time.

Book Week: Reading History

This week in Panmure Bridge School, it is book week. This is to celebrate reading. For this challenge we were to make a DLO that includes our favorite books when we were growing up. Currently I am Reading Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, by J.K Rowling. Their is also a movie to the book, but I think the book is a lot better because it gives more information.  This activity was fairly easy, although it got hard from time to time to remember which books we read as a kid. In the end, it was fun to remember what we used to like as a kid, and comparing those stories to what we like now.

Armistice Day: Illustration

This week we have been working on a activities that linked to Armistice Day. One of the activities was to re-create an image showing the end of the war. This task was to be done either individually, or with a group. I decided to go with the second option, so I worked with Alex, Jack, and Ofa. We had a lot of fun doing this activity, and hope to revisit something like it soon. This was not too challenging of an activity, but really got us challenged.

Armistice Commemoration

This upcoming Sunday will mark 100 years since World War 1 came to an end and to commemorate this occasion at school we held a special memorial which Mr Johnston led. WW1 ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. We had the whole school attend, representatives from our Board of Trustees, and a representative from the New Zealand Defense force. To open the memorial, Ofa started said the prayer which was followed by He Honore. After that Tiava and Jeremiah recited the Ode of Remembrance both in English and Maori. This was very special as it was to remember the fallen soldiers. We then listened to the last post and lowered the flag. It was then raised again to the playing of Reveille. To remember this event poppies with the signature of the students were placed on the fence in our school. Next to the poppies olive plants to remember the past, present and future were also planted. At the end of commemoration the school recited the national anthem. "We Will Remember Them, We Will Remember Them, Lest We Forget".

Max Gimblett is a New Zealand artist who is most recognized for is quatrefoil artwork. His creative artwork has influenced our school because we now have poppies on the fence the same shape as some of his artwork.

Armistice Day: Collage

Since it's nearly Armistice day we were to make a collage with photos that is based on Armistice day.  We were to include photos that has people celebrating Armistice day including soldiers and people from around the country. We put photos of people celebrating from New Zealand, France, and Australia. Jack, Ofa, and I have made a collage also including newspaper talking about how the war is over. We have worked collaboratively together to finish this off. Did you know that the Armistice Day was signed on the 11th of November 1918 at the time it was signed was 11 past 11 (11:11).

The Battle Of The Somme

This week, for reading Mrs Anderson's and Ms Kirkpatrick's reading groups were a collaborative dlo about the Battle Of The Somme. It was a war that started on the 1st of July 1916 and it ended on the 18th of November 1916. Since I am in Mrs Anderson's group I needed to choose a partner from Ms Kirkpatrick's reading group. My partner was Lyric. In the collaborative comprehension we needed to work together and answer the questions we were given about the text. I found this task interesting because I was able to learn about a war that I didn't even know about before. Throughout this task Lyric and I got stuck, but at the end we eventually got their.

The Highwayman Summary

This week we have been reading the poem called the Highwayman by Alfred Noyes. It was written in 1913 but is set a long time before. The Highwayman was a British outlaw who would steal gold from people who were in carriages. His lover Bess would later in the poem take her life to warn her loved one about the soldiers who camped in her bedroom. When he found out about Bess taking her life he charged towards her residence where he was shot by the King's soldiers. Legend has it that when the moon is a ghostly galleon upon the cloudy seas he rides towards Bess's residence (an old inn) where he talks to her while she plaits a love knot in her hair.

Radius and Diameter

Today for math we were learning about radius, diameter and circumference. It was quite easy to answer because I've already learn a bit about this activity. The radius is the half of the circle and diameter is the half of the circle x2. The circumference is the measurement of the whole circle. I really enjoyed the game we played based on Radius and Diameter. One of the questions were if the radius is 3 what is the diameter. The answer is obviously 6 because you double the radius to get the diameter.

Kiwi Can Reflecion

This week in Kiwi Can we were learning more about values and how we can use them in our everyday lives, we also talked about rules, why we have them and what they do. We had new teachers this week and their names are Mr Latu and Miss Paige. The theme for this term is respect. We also played two games, for one of them we were split into two groups and then needed to have a debate. And for the other one we needed to do an action for every number said so in pairs if one of us said one they'd need to clap at the same time, and for two it was a bow and three was a small kick.

At Panmure Bridge School we have many rules that is set to follow, these are just a few -
  • No fighting
  • No fizzy drinks
  • No littering
  • Not leaving the school grounds before 3 o'clock.
  • Being respectful towards the teachers/students
  • No playing games during class
Why do we have rules in our school?
We have these rules to keep us safe, and these rules change who we were to who we will be in the future in a positive way.

Tech Reflection

Today was our first session of art for Term 4. Today were to finish off coloring or drawing our charity box. My charity box is based on helping people with cancer. In my charity box I have written things based on helping such as: Donate, Better Together, Give a little, help a lot and etc. We also needed to have a slogan on our charity box. My slogan is "Helping, Healing and Caring". We also played a game  that was based on 3D shapes. Examples of 3D shapes are cuboid, sphere, cone prism etc. For this activity there 3 games and for one of the game we were to see how many faces, edges, and vertices there were in the shape given. For example if the questions says how many vertices does a cuboid the answer will of course be 8. There are lives in this game and if you get a incorrect answer you loose 1 life. There is a maximum of 4 lives. I really enjoyed this game and hope to play it again next time.

Niuean Language Week

This week is Niue Language week and for it we were asked to make an informative DLO about the language of Niue. In this DLO Fraidoon, Alex and I have included the days of the week in Niue, months, fruits, animals, numbers, and also some saying. All three of us enjoyed Niue Language Week. At the end when were finished our DLO we made a screencastify translating the Niuean language into English. I've learnt that Lanuali is January and Hana is Corn. I found this interesting because the words sound similar to the Tongan phrases.

New Zealand Shakeout

Today at approximately 9:30, an alarm went off. The reason it went off is
because today is New Zealand Shakeout day. A Shakeout day happens once
every year, this year it was on the 18th of November at 9:30. This event is a
reminder for people who forgot or don’t know what to do during an earthquake.
What we learnt from this is, during an earthquake we have to drop, cover, and
hold. Which means, drop down, crawl under something that will protect you, for
example table, and hold on to any object that will prevent you from moving.
After the drill has finished, we were asked to created an DLO,
(Digital Learning Object) telling our audience what to do during an earthquake. I
worked collaboratively to create this DLO with Alex and Sanujan.

Order Of Operations

Today's maths session was spent revising and teaching people about BEDMAS or BODMAS. It stands for: brackets, exponents, division, multiplications, addition, and subtraction. I worked with Jeremiah and Ofa For this activity we were asked to choose three of the questions that we answered to explain how we got our answers. We have chosen questions that require us to abide by the BEDMAS rules. On our DLO there is an answer sheet that will give you the answers to the other questions. Also an explanation explaining how we got our answers.

SHOUTYKID: How Harry Riddles Got Nearly Almost Famous

For the past two weeks in reading we have been doing a book study on a book of our choice. I chose to do SHOUTYKID: How Harry Riddles Almost Nearly Got Famous. The reason that I chose this book is because he is a lot like me and on the first page it says that if you like The Diary Of The Wimpy Kid and Tom Gates series you are definitely going to like this. Throughout the three week I have really enjoyed doing this because I have learnt so many new things that I did not know before.

Spaghetti Bridge Testing

For the past two weeks for inquiry we have been making bridges out of spaghetti. We only had limited amount of supplies. Towards finishing our bridges there was not that much rubber bands left, so we had to improvise and use strings. Once we were finished, it was time to test them. We attached as many bricks as possible until it broke. The span of our bridge was 26.5cm and it was able to hold five bricks. I think we could have made our bridge a bit wider.  For this task I worked with Carl, Joseph and Alexander. At the end Jack and Sanujan's group did the best because their bridge was able to hold 6 bricks.

Presenting Our Overall Review

Today for reading, we in our READ groups presented the DLO's we had created about our book that we had chosen for our reviews. In my READ group (The E in READ) I presented to Sanujan, Fui, Jericho and Mele. They had a lot to say about my work, although everything they had said was on a positive note. They enjoyed the comics I drew. I had a lot of fun showing my work, and having them see what I had been working on for the last 3 weeks. If you would like to see my work in general, then you can look through my blog to check it out.

Special Duffy Assembly

Today, we had an unusual day. That's because we had our term 3 Duffy Assembly. Like normal, we had our special guests. Although today's guest was none other than comic book legend, Michel Mulipola. You may not of heard of this artist, although you should most defiantly see what he does. He came here to tell his life story, and what he does as a career. He explained about his personal life, and what he likes doing outside of illustrating. We even found that he is a professional wrestler that is a semi-professional gamer in the gaming franchise Tekken. Although that was not the main reason as to why he was here. He was here to tell his story of reading, and give us our Duffy Books. We all thank him for what he had done today, and we hope he'll return

Why Are Bridges Built? - Explanation

Why Are Bridges Built?

This isn’t about tunnels, nor is it about towers, but instead bridges. We cross many of them everyday. But have you ever thought about why we have bridges? It's a question we don’t really think about, and don’t necessarily know the answer too.

First of all, why are bridges built? These wonderful structures help us connect in many ways with different people and places. Bridges are built to carry traffic from obstructed places where you can’t build a road, (for example over rivers and lakes). They provide a pathway from two separate locations, and allow you to pass by the things that obstruct your routine.

Secondly bridges are constructed out of many different materials such as: iron, stone, wood, concrete and plastic. So there are many different types of bridges at different strength levels. Bridges made out of wood is the least strongest among the rest of the materials and steel would be the strongest. So more people would use steel as opposed to wood.

Lastly, what would we do without bridges? If we had no bridges we would have not be able to go over lakes, rivers and large ponds. We would need to use helicopters, boats, airplanes and subways. For example; back in 1857 before the Panmure Bridge was built, people used a small floating platform called a punt. This was not very stable, it would usually leak and it needed a lot of repairs. The people were really frustrated and it influenced them to write a petition to build the a bridge over the Tamaki River.

Bridges, bulky brilliant structures all around us. We cross many of them everyday, when we are going to school, work or shopping. This why we need bridges, without them it would not be same, and we would not we able to go to places as easy as we can today.
_________________________________________________________________
This week for writing we have been looking at explanation. Since our topic for inquiry is structures we were to write our explanation about why are bridges built? In our explanation we were not aloud to use a rhetorical question as our hook because we have used it a lot in the past. So I chose to do my hook as what its not. We also needed to have a colon and a semi colon in our piece of writing. I learnt that back in 1857 before the Panmure Bridge was built, people used a small floating platform called a punt.

HIIT - Final Week

For the past 15 weeks LS2 has been apart of an Auckland University research program. This program is called HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). We have been doing this twice a week for 15 weeks. At the start of the program we were getting puffed a lot faster than we are today: due to the lack of exercise. Now that we have been doing HIIT for a long time we are much fitter and we aren't getting puffed as fast as we used to.  I have really enjoyed doing HIIT because it helped me become fitter and I have also learnt a new way to exercise. The exercise that I did not enjoy doing was push ups because my arms would really hurt and I just don't like doing push ups in general. The exercise that really enjoyed doing was star jumps because it's one of the easier exercises. I really hope I can do even more HIIT in the future because it has really helped me and a lot of other people to become a lot fitter than we were before.

Exponents / Powers

Today for maths, we all learnt about how to solve exponent (Powers) problems. Our challenge for today was to solve 18 problems based on our topic of exponents. This task had its ups and downs, although we all managed to find the answers and solutions. Next came creating a DLO that showed how to solve three different problems of the 18. To create this DLO I worked with Jack, and we had a lot of fun working, and creating together. In the end, we chose to make our DLO out of these problems. 73 (7 to the power of 3), 142 (14 to the power of 2), and 83 (8 to the power of 3).

Kiwi Kaper Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra

Today a majority of students from Panmure Bridge School, was lucky enough to get to see a live Orchestra performance at the Auckland Town Hall by the Kiwi Kapers Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra. There were 3 pieces of music performances. There were also different sections such as the brass, woodwind, string and percussion. After the music their was Auckland dance project by Saint Kentigern and Ngatapawae. I found the music and dance performance really cool, and I would definitely want to come again another time.

VR Research

For inquiry this term our topic has been structures. Today, a group of researchers from the Augmented human lab at the University of Auckland, visited our classroom to use virtual reality to teach us about the history of our local Panmure Bridge. Yvonne, and her team brought with them numerous VR Cardboard's, and a few Magic Windows. Although sadly not everyone got to experience everything, but before any of us got to jump into the wonders of virtual reality we all had to do a few tests. These tests involved tests for our eyesight, our balance, and more. One of the tests in particular was based around our knowledge. We had to (Without researching) answer a few questions based around our Panmure Bridge. Although we did not work alone. Everyone had been put into table groups, and we would work together to solve problems, and dive into the depths of Virtual learning. Right after we finished our tests, we finally got into the land of virtual reality. My group started off by using a few iPads to learn about both how the construction of the bridge went, and how letters were sent before the bridge existed. This activity lasted for at least 10 minutes, and involved a whole lot of entertainment. Once completed, we would then revisit the tests that we had done before, and would redo it now that our brains had been refreshed with knowledge. We all had a lot of fun doing these exercises based around the technology of virtual reality. I give a big thanks to Yvonne and her team for the effort they had put into this. They have all done a good job, and I hope that one day they will return.

Sentence Using Colons

Today for writing, we had a challenge to complete. The challenge was to place colons into sentences that were missing them. Your job was to place them into the correct spots. Although a lot of people do not know how to correctly use these pieces of punctuation. So what Miss Kirkpatrick kindly did was link a video that described how they work. An example would be: I love watching superhero movies: Superman is the best. Once we had completed this challenge, we had a follow up task. Our follow up task was to illustrate one of the many sentences we had to fill in. We all had half an hour to draw any image that resembled the sentence we chose. Along with this image, we also had to come up with an explanation explaining why the colon was where is was. This was a fun challenge to complete. Although there were some parts that stumped me, I worked my way through it. I do hope that we can get another exciting task next week for writing.

Sensory Verbs

Today for writing we were learning about sensory verbs. Our task was to go on a site and complete the examples of sensory verbs.  I found this task quite easy because I already knew what they were. Next time if we do a task that's linked to sensory verbs I would like it to be harder so it can make me think more.

Tower Comparison

This term, our inquiry focus has been on structures. We have been doing many activities based around this topic, and this activity was about towers. Our task, was to compare two different towers with our well known Sky Tower. The two other towers we chose to compare with was the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab This task had to be done in pairs, although we had to choose someone from Mrs Anderson's group to work with. So for this activity, I chose to work with Miki. We had a lot of fun working together for this activity, so I do hope that next time we work together, it'll be twice as fun.

Similarities and Differences - Gotthard Base Tunnel and Waterview Tunnel

For inquiry we have been looking at different structures. For this task we were to make a comparison between the Gotthard Base Tunnel and the Waterview Tunnel in pairs. My partner was Alex. But before that we needed to watch two short video that included facts about the Waterview Tunnel and the Gotthard Base Tunnel. While watch this video we needed to take notes and get as much information as we could. I learnt that it took seven years to build the Waterview Tunnel.

Maths Rich Task - Jola's Birthday Party

This week for maths Ms Kirkpatrick has set us another Maths Rich Task. In my perspective I think this was the easiest problem I've ever solved. First we were to solve three problems based on a birthday party. The skill we used to solve this problem was our division and multiplication skills. After solving the three problems we then had to pick one of the problems to make a DLO on. Ofa and I have decided to choose the last problem which talks about how many eggs each person that attended Jola's birthday should get. Each box holds 6 eggs and we had to figure out if 50 eggs would be enough for 8 of the guest. Our answer and our working out is on the DLO.

Tunnel Purposes

For inquiry Ms Kirkpatrick's group needed to first get into our pairs, after that we then needed to either research different tunnel materials used for construction or the different tunnel purposes. I worked with Fraidoon, and together we found a few types of tunnels that everyday people use. Researching the different types was pretty hard because we didn't know many tunnels.

Bridge Comparison

For Inquiry this term our topic is structures. Today we were looking at bridges. In pairs we were to create a Venn Diagram comparing the Auckland Viaduct Harbour Bridge with the Golden Gate Bridge. My partner was Alex. I learnt that 11 people past away during the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. Did you know that cars can't cross the Auckland Viaduct Bridge.

Technology - Food Tech

This week for food technology we were made Hawaiian Pizza in pairs. My partner was Mikihirou. To start, the first person had to get our pizza bread and spread the tomato paste on top of the bread. While they were doing that the second person then diced the onion, and chicken. When everything was done we put all the toppings on our pizza with a bit of pineapple. After that we topped our pizza with cheese then we put it in an oven which was preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. I really enjoyed and in my perspectives this is my favorite cooking session out of all. I also enjoyed food tech today because I drunk the pineapple juice.
